Stephen Harrison has over 30 years of experience in the financial services, funds management, M&A, private equity and accounting fields – primarily focused on the energy, technology, IT services, infrastructure, financial services, health, entertainment and natural resource sectors.
He is an experienced chairman and director with extensive ASX and corporate experience. He currently serves as the chairman of the ASX listed life insurance company NobleOak Life Limited (ASX NOL), rewards and loyalty company IncentiaPay Limited (ASX: INP), and fund manager Conscious Capital Limited.
He has previously served as chairman of a number of ASX companies including technology companies Sinetech Limited and The Gruden Group Limited. He has also held senior director positions including with Investec and the Australian subsidiary of US based fund manager Sanford C Bernstein.Mr Harrison is a Certified Practicing Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide.
Mr Joshua Zhou is one of Australia’s leading business professionals specialising in cross-border trade between Australia and China with a focus on social eCommerce.
Mr Zhou is the co-founder and a Board Member of Aumake, Australia’s first social eCommerce platform designed to be a marketplace for social influencers selling Australian and New Zealand products directly to Chinese consumers. This platform, revolutionised Duty-free retail, together with daigou cross border trade and international logistics solutions and was quickly recognised as the leading platform in Australia.
Beginning his working life in the tourism sector, he has over a decade of working experience as a tourism Sales Manager and has facilitated numerous business and government delegations from China and South East Asia to Australia that have resulted in significant investments in Australia.
Mr Zhou has an in-depth understanding of social and eCommerce technologies and a unique appreciation of the differences between Australian, New Zealand and Chinese cultures.
Mr Karousos is an experienced senior executive and director with deep corporate and legal experience gained mostly in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. He is currently the chairman of natural pet care company BuddyPet and non-executive director of robotics company Nightingale Intelligent Systems. He has previously held positions as CEO and director of Elixinol Wellness and has held senior roles in global organisations including Baker McKenzie.
Mr Karousos holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Yang joined the Board on 18 November 2019. Mr Yang is a highly experienced Asian focussed tourism professional with over 20 years of experience in the Asian tourist retail industry. During this time he co-founded and built the Broadway business to a turnover of over $30 million per annum, which was ultimately acquired by AuMake in July 2019. Mr Yang’s long standing and established relationships throughout the entire tourist supply chain, including with travel agents in China and ANZ, will provide valuable insight to the Board as it focuses on the continued growth of AuMake in the Asian tourist market.
Ms Li joined AuMake in September 2019, with over 12 years’ experience in Human Resources and business. Ms Li has held senior roles across a number of industries including retail franchising, IT, consulting, architecture, construction and most recently providing HR project services to the NSW State Government. Ms Li’s strength in building diverse workplaces includes the design of the ‘CAPER’ model (Curiosity, Awareness, Patience, Embrace and Respect) to equip organisations for dealing with cultural challenges.
Mr Guarna has more than 30 years of financial experience in management consultancy, mergers and acquisitions, and auditing. Highly qualified, he has previously held CFO and Finance Manager positions at numerous ASX-listed companies including SciDev Limited (SDV), Australia Gold Ltd (ADG) and Freedom Insurance Group Ltd (FIG).
Mrs Marsha has over 7 years of extensive experience across the full spectrum of accounting functions, M&A global corporate expansions and auditing as a Certified Practicing Accountant. Industries and sectors worked on include manufacturing, media, tourism, health, advisory services, construction, retailers, FMCG and non-profit organizations. She has an extensive background in collaborating with Directors and management teams to improve financial performance and support business strategies.
Mrs Marsha holds a Master of Professional Accounting and a Master of Commerce from the University of Wollongong. She is a member of CPA Australia, International Federation of Accountants, Institute of Financial Accountants (UK) and Institute of Public Accountants. She is also a BAS agent of the Tax Practitioners Board in Australia.
Mr Higginson is the holder of a Bachelor of Business Degree with majors in both Finance and Administration.
Mr Higginson is a professional director and company secretary with extensive experience in public company administration, ASX Listing Rules, the Corporations Act, capital raisings, corporate governance, financial reporting and due diligence.
Mr Higginson was formerly an executive officer with the Australian Securities Exchange and has, over the last 34 years, held numerous directorship and company secretarial roles with a number of public listed companies across a range of industry sectors.
